WEAK. as if that horrible auto tuner shit wasnt bad enough now this nigga wants to be a "rock star". first and foremost, just because you can do something doesnt mean you should. i can run but im not gonna challenge usane bolt to a foot race. i can play basketball but i aint gonna try out for the lakers. you kinda see where im going with this? lil wayne left a stain on hip hop by winning a grammy. granted it wasnt like the illest shit came out last year but looking at the list i'm hard pressed to see how the carter III was better than finding forever or graduation (sorry jay but kingdom come was not your best effort). dude had over 20 songs on the carter III and 4 of them were hot and by hot i mean passable. that means 80% was shit. you dont pass a class because 20% of your work was B quality. so why give him grammy love? popularity contest? because he flooded the charts with dumb shit for 12 months? whats the reasoning behind this mockery? what does this mean for legitimate rock acts? could you imagine if this trash pollutes peoples minds once again? if lil wayne goes up against legends like u2, springsteen or god forbid PRINCE for a grammy next year i will shit myself. i need to organize a boycott. actions must be taken. between you and me i wouldnt be too distraught if lil wayne was murdered or locked up. in fact i would hope he just gets locked up, if he dies then that asshole is REALLY gonna have undeserved love. if you disagree with this rant then i say... somewhat agreed. lil wayne needs to RELAX cuz everything he's coming out with is boring. listening to carter 2 most tracks flow effortlessly he was hard!!MOB!!!! combined with the beats his delivery sounds original the drought series brought such anticipation for the album and once it arrived it seemed soft. kanye ego without kanyes swag... hes too hood for that. the only songs that really brought it for me were the ones feat. someone else
